Scheduling: If you are interested in scheduling a speaker for your organization, please contact the Speakers Bureau Coordinator at speakersbureau@ggmga.org
She will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time and date for your presentation/s. We are delighted to work with you to bring educational opportunities to your patrons/members.

Please allow at least 3 weeks for us to schedule a speaker. We will provide a confirmation to you as well as to the scheduled speaker, including all of the details regarding the presentation. Most presentations last 30-45 minutes, allowing an additional 15 minutes or so for questions and answers. Some of our presentations require a laptop, projector, and screen (provided by the speaker), while others involve demonstrations or hands-on participation. Many presentations include handouts.

Although there is no charge for our presentations, we gratefully accept honorariums, made payable to GGMG. (The Speaker will accept the check.) Funds support your local Greater Greenville Master Gardener Association. There are a few demonstration-type presentations that do require a small materials fee.

Mission: The mission of the Clemson Master Gardener program is to select, train, and utilize knowledgeable volunteers to facilitate the educational work of the local Consumer Horticulture Agent by delivering research-based information to citizens of the state.

To fulfill this mission, Certified Master Gardener volunteers provide horticulture presentations throughout the year to local schools, garden clubs, libraries, and other civic organizations. There is no charge for the programs, but speakers do accept honorariums. A few of the demonstrations, e.g. leaf sand casting or hypertufa, require a materials fee.

The Speakers Bureau offers over 100 topics on everything from annuals to vegetable gardening. The list of topics is quite extensive.
