Sadly, we have cancelled our February 2021 Symposium.
We had to go ahead and cancel to avoid making commitments that we could not keep. We are sad, but this will make 2022 even more appreciated and enjoyed!

Thank you to all of our sponsors and donors for making the 2020 symposium a huge success!
Featuring entertaining and informative speakers from near and far, the annual GGMG symposium is held in early February. Originally planned to further our mission of educating the public, the symposium provides attendees an inspiring and engaging day and an introduction to new ideas in the ever-changing world of horticulture. It has become so popular, in fact, that the tickets go on sale just after Thanksgiving and are usually sold out by the first of January.
A fun and fact-filled day, it provides opportunities to learn about plants, landscape design, and other pertinent topics, as well as a chance to see old friends, meet new ones, and shop a selection of chosen vendors who offer a variety of choice plants, an array of books, tools, and other garden-related items, including both garden and fine art.
Each spring local artists are invited to submit original works of art, representing the theme of the following symposium. The selected artist receives a cash prize, free vendor space, and the winning piece is featured on the symposium brochure.
