Rent-a-Master Gardener Program
Unfortunately, RAMG has enough requests that we have closed the sign-up form for the rest of the season. Check back again in April when we will start again. Until then, check out Clemson's Home and Garden Information Center for some good advice.
Needing help with your lawn or garden? Rent-a-Master Gardener (RAMG) is here to help!
The Greater Greenville Master Gardener Association (GGMGA) Volunteers offer its RAMG program to Greenville County residents interested in receiving research-based horticulture information specially tailored to their home garden and landscape.
Here’s how it works…
Complete the online form to provide us information about your garden questions and concerns. Our RAMG Chair will assign a team leader to schedule a visit to your home. During the home visit, team members will field and ask questions, take notes and photos, and take a soil sample. The visit will be limited to no more than 2 hours.
A $50 fee will be collected at the beginning of your visit.
Approximately two weeks after the visit, you will receive a detailed report of the team’s findings and recommendations from the RAMG team leader via email. Soil test results and recommendations will be sent to the client directly from the Ag Services Laboratory at Clemson University in approximately 2 to 3 weeks.
Fees collected from RAMG fund GGMGA scholarships to further horticulture education in Greenville County.
