The Early Bloomers are continuing to offer learning and fun to future gardeners. This time of year, with the cooler weather, we just move inside. We have created teaching modules so that any master gardener can easily jump in and enjoy the afternoon as part of a teaching team. The modules are designed to be flexible and can be geared to children preschool through 5 th grade. New teaching modules on Nature, Plant Pigment (sense of Sight), Leaves and Trees, and The Sniff Test (sense of Smell) have all been a hit with the kids. We are scheduled once a month at Red Shield After School (was Boys and Girls Club) and Front Porch Housing After School into Spring. We are also working on dates for elementary schools and Homeschoolers. |
